Periodically, once every several weeks, depending on use and household conditions, apply an even coat of mineral oil to the work surface of your cutting board. Sponge on and let dry. |
|
Do not allow moisture of any type to stand on the cutting board for long periods of time. Do not let fresh, wet meats lay on the cutting board longer than necessary. Brine, water and blood contain moisture, which soaks into the wood, causing the cutting board to expand, soften and effects the strength of the glued joints. |
|
Never cut continuously in the same direction on the cutting board. Distribute your cutting over the entire work surface so that it will wear evenly. Do not use a razor-edged cleaver, it will chip and splinter the wood and cause "soft spots". Cleavers should have dull sharpened edges for best results. |
|
Never use harsh detergents of any type to clean your cutting board. Do not wash knives, forks, etc. over the cutting board. |
|
Cutting board's are not dishwasher compatible. |

We offer a variety of woods including Hard Maple, American Cherry, Brazilian Cherry, Walnut, Teak, Birdseye Maple, Mahogany and Oak. These tops can be made of Finger Joined or Solid Rails. Our Custom Wood Tops can be up to 16-feet Wide and 50-inches Deep in one piece. Custom Wood Tops take up to 3-weeks for delivery and ship to the lower 48-states only.
